Design Justice First Place Winner for the NOMAS Barbara G Laurie Competition. Completed with all members of the Cornell NOMAS chapter. Rebeca Aro served as PR Chair in the E-Board and leader of the video creation group. 
In order to heal Albina’s fractured history, our design weaves a new tapestry into the landscape. Five healing pillars serve as the foundation of the design: medical health emerges in community spaces and building facades, healthy lifestyles are promoted through green roofs, resilient environmental systems can be seen through angled roofs for rainwater collection, and vibrant residences engage with businesses.
